KEEPER FOR THE DAY
The ultimate experience for any animal lover! Spend a whole day in the zoo working alongside our expert staff to care for some of your favourite animals.
MEET THE GIRAFFES
Come face to face with our tallest residents and head behind the scenes to learn even more about them.
MEET THE LEMURS
Our Lemurs are naturally curious and very friendly, something you’ll witness first hand as you head into their enclosure. Armed with a bowl of their favourite foods, you’ll be able to hand feed some of the troop.
MEET THE TORTOISES
Come face to face with our gentle giants and meet our oldest resident, Darwin. They might not rush over to you, but give them time and they’ll be delighted to see you (and the bowl of tasty treats you’re carrying).
MEET THE AARDVARKS
An experience like no other – aardvarks might be nocturnal but they’re very friendly and they love a good snuffle – so they’ll be glad to see you, even if you do have to wake them up first!
MEET THE TAPIRS
Head inside the tapir enclosure and meet these gentle creatures. As you hand feed them some of their favourite foods, you’ll see their strange looking snouts at work as they sniff out their snacks.
Come face to trunk with our Asian elephants and head behind the scenes at Project Elephant during our brand new Elephant Encounter. Find out what an elephant’s skin really feels like before hand-feeding one of the girls a tasty snack.
Fancy something a little more exclusive? Delve deeper into Project Elephant as you learn about the different elements of the program, enjoy a behind the scenes tour and help keepers with their daily routines.
